Old thread, but still an issue. The workaround:
1. uncheck the "crop view" for all the plan views / levels
2. open a plan view / level and make sure all the grids are "3d" (click on a grid and adjust the "2d" / "3d" as needed
3. adjust the grids so that they all align and that they move as a group
4. propagate the grids to the rest of the plan views / levels
5. check the "crop view" for all the plan views / levels
HOK has a short post on this:
STILL an issue 7 years later, in version 2018.... 😕 now I can't toggle the 3D on for some reason.... I click the 2D tag and it just unselects the gridline.... argh!
Try this.. Create section in plan where you can see some missing grids and then pull down or up the missing grids.. Go back to plan..
Check in worksets , crop view and crop region view ....for inclined grids cut a section across grid line and make visible..
I wanted to add a note to this thread since it was at the top of the google search list. I was having an issue that two grid lines weren't showing up on my roof plan. I eventually found that those two grids lines were on the wrong phase. So if you are working on a project that has phases, make sure your grids are on the correct phase.
If grids are visible in other same level views then try changing Scope box of grids to None.
Thank you. I had my grids attached to a scope box and had to undo that before I could start adjusting them. Extending them in the 3D view down into the level I needed solved the issue.
Hi.
Im using revit 2022
problem: No gridlines showing in the 2 sections. but visible in the 4 elevations view and 2 sections view.
i already do the ff:
1. check the visibility
2. change the gridline
3. no filters
4. vertical and horizontal grid intersect.
thank you.
