i have a created a roof framing plan with steel trusses and 1 1/2" metal decking on top of that. in my section plan the trusses show up and the metal decking on top of that as well. however, in my 3d views the metal decking does not show up. what am i doing wrong? i can even attach the file so that you may see what i am talking about.

thank you in advance.

In a 3-d view, you will only see the full slab thickess.

The metal deck is only seen in a view where the slab is cut.

Hi

I'm having the same problem.
What family are you using & which visibility option did you set?

Cheers

I assume that he meant that the "roof" category is not set in the visibility/Graphics for that view.

To make sure that it is on, go to the visibility Graphics Dialog ("VG") and make sure there is a check next to "roofs."
