LoadingAutodeskFamily - External component has thrown an exception

Is any else having this issue in Revit 2022 when trying to open a new local file from the recent files start up screen?

We are selecting the project. Append Time Stamp. Then before the model opens we get this error (not a cloud model)

Hit Close and the model doesn't open. If we do this 3-4 times it will then open without the exception.

We have this on multi models and multi computers in the office. I have recreated the central files, audited, compressed the central on sync. All users running lastest version 22.1.21.13.

Something weird is that if the user creates a new local file from the Open Dialog Box we don't have the error.

Error is the error message from the journal file.

Ok but I thought it was core part of Revit ("Load Autodesk Family")

What implications do you think there may be by disabling it?

Found the problem, another add-in was interfering with the inbuilt Revit 'Load Autodesk Family' Add-in.

Glad you found the culprit!

I am experiencing the same error - could you maybe tell me, which plugin was the offending party in your case? If I am in luck, I have the same one intalled and it could save me some hunting.. 😉
Thanks in advance!
