I'm trying to see if it's possible to sort of miter a column and two beams together. I just want to know if it's possible to make the column and beam families comply to what I want without faking anything.  Note: The two beams are the same size but the column is a smaller size.

sadly no, you will need to use some detail lines and or voids to really get a "clean" cut version like you are showing. revit does not like to join between different categories such as columns and beams. they are two totally different things in the software

Hi @Anonymous

If you are using Revit 2019 or later then yes this can be done with the tools added to the Steel tab.

If the column & beam are simply mitered then use the mitre command, if you want a division plate between them then use the cranked beam to beam connection.

I have made a short screencast video demonstrating both methods - https://autode.sk/3dE3Xoz

One thing to note when using these Steel tools is the shapre of the beam changes to a Steel Fabrication Format, this disables things like autojoin, cutbacks, groups, assemblies. Once anything from the Steel tab is placed the only way to get back to a "normal" Revit beam / column is to delete and remodel. Refer to this page - https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/revit-products/learn-explore/caas/CloudHelp/cloudhelp/2021/ENU/Revit-StructEng/files/GUID-8381A08F-CBCD-4215-AB36-82648C07B8F6-htm.html

@Rob_Merriman

Thanks for your detailed solution and reminding me that the "Steel" Tab is a thing, haha...
