I have now finished modelling a building using revit architecture. I am planning to draw a structure, to the buidling. But I wonder how do I start off. Shoud I create a new file, if so how do I work with my building model? Please advice me a workflow and I will get through it. Thanks!Smiley Happy

Different routes can be taken. It all depends on the project. If it is a small project worked on by single person or very small team than a single project file can be sufficient. If the project gets larger and different people will be working on it than you can consider to use another file for your structure and link the other drawing in. For even larger projects or more people working on it using a central file and worksets could be the route.

Also sharing of (parts) of the project (e.g. outside contractors, departments) can make one of the different options more useful.

For smaller projects  you can still decide to take one of the alternative routes.

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.
