I am working in Revit 2015.  I have a dropbox copy of a Revit file that I need to edit the font type and color and a few other things. I cannot find away to get it detached from the central file. I do not have access to the central file. Does anyone know how I can get control (ownership) of this file.

Any file which is either central or local can be detached while opening, you get the option of detached while opening the file from whitin Revit in open dialogue box.
