How to hide truss in 3d view

I often select object from 3d view when editing, especially sloping beam in complex model. But after placing truss on the model, I am having trouble selecting objects below.
How to hide truss in 3d view ?

I try to hide them (truss) through filter by "type name" but it still cant be hidden.
And then I try through filter by "description" and still fail.

Can help me?

I attached simple model for you instead of having to model from scratch.

In Filters, Structural Trusses refers to the Structural Loads and not the system family...if you want to apply filters you need to apply them to the structural members used of the Truss

What do you mean with structural members. are they each profile/beam used in truss. I must hide each of them?

No... you create a filter for structural framing and apply the rule to the types used in the truss

I would duplicate structural framing types, add a 'truss' suffix to the
type names, assign them to the trusses, and filter using type names with
'truss' keyword in it.

Another approach -  Create a selection filter and hide those selection filters in the required viewsFilter.gif.

If you hide the category of " Structural Trusses", it won't hide the members of the truss, for the members of the truss are belong to different categories(Structural Framing(Web), or Structural Framing(Chord).

You can hide them directly in the sub-category of Structural Framing in V/G setting of the view, uncheck "Chord" and "Web".

If you want to use filters, you should also make the filter in Structural Framing category in stead of structural trusses.
