How to create new concrete section ?

Hello everyone,

I would like to know how to define/create new framing family to be used in my building's model. For example, I want to connect the main girders/beams of a ribbed slab by ribbed beams, the cross-section of each beam is similar to a T-shaped section, with a small difference that the section is not a straight T, it has some angles, the lower half looks like a polygon and the upper half like a T-section.

How should I accomplish this ?

Start by finding one of the out of the box Structural Framing families that most closely represents what you want to end up with.  Do a save as into your custom library and then edit the family as needed.  You will likely need to add additional parameters or constraints.  Test funtionality in a sample project before moving the family into your production model.
