How to add M_Concrete-square-column to my revit 2022 drawing?

Hello,

I'm trying to add M-concrete- square -column to my drawing, but first i have to load it, but i can't find it in revit library. How do i get it?

1.)Go into your Revit Project click on column and click load "family".

2.) Select "US"

3.) Select "Structural  Column" and select "concrete"

4.) There you will able to select your M_concrete-square-column.c.JPG

it work i think, i had to download the us library. thanks alot

 

The M_Concrete-square-column and concrete square column are the same thing?

No they are not the same.  Concrete-Square-Column is US Imperial, M_Concrete-Square-Column is US Metric.  If you want metric families you should load it in from the US Metric library.

It is the same model object ones M the other is imperial you still can change one from the other in lengths.

It is a bad practice.  They give you Imperial and metric as two separate libraries for a reason.  Furthermore, some families some with a type catalog that have predefined dimensions based on local region standards.
