Hello 🙂

How can I add bar length parameter in Edit label window?

I want my Area reinforcement tag to look like that:

37N10x400

37 is number of lines

N10 is bar type

x is ...just a symbol

400 is the length of the bar.

I dont know how to add the length in the list of parameters.example.JPG

You will need to use rebar tag instead of area reinforcement tag, this will allow you to create the required tag but one per each layer of reinforcement.

The area reinforcement tag don't read the length of rebars.

Depends what content you are using for rebar shapes? As an example UK rebar shapes in the Autodesk library have a shared parameter defined in the family 'Length of each bar' which could be used in tags. Although not common to place length in tag.

If there isn't one you can add one in each shape family based on bending code used.

If you find a shared parameter in one of the shapes but missing in others I suggest you extract it from that shape family and use it rather than create a new one.
