Gusset centered to column

Hi, I'm new to Revit and working on a duct stand that requires a angle as a brace. with that in mind, I used a Gusset plate as the connector, but when I do, it's show cased as off the center of the round column. How would I center the plate to the center of the round column?

I've tried, but it wont move. I found the best way to do it was to have the angle brace y justification on left with 180 cross rotation to get the angle the correct orientation for what my drawing is calling for. I then put -1/8"(half of the thickness of the gusset plate) y offset value to have the gusset connection to be on center of the column. Now I just got to figure how to get the height correct.
