Anthony,
Thanks for the answer. I tried several ways to make wall footings. 1) using
the continuous footing in the foundation family. I couldn't get those to
clean up. It's too bad because they attach so easily. 2) wall sweeps. I had
too much difficulty in cleaning those up. and 3) footings made from walls by
themselves. Those cleaned up easily. They even joined to the isolated
footings. I'm switching over from ADT to Revit, so I have a learning curve
hurdle. One odd cleanup problem turns out to be the difference between
coarse and medium view settings. Wall joins to different wall types show in
the coarse setting even if the material and level settings are the same.

Hi Arthur,
ok I'm no expert but what I've been doing is where I have a problem with
footing cleanups I use the linework 'LW' command and set unwanted lines to
invisible, If I need a footing to continuous pass the end of a wall I'll add
a mass or an isolated footing (I've found isolated footings to be best but
watch you tags!)
I hope this helps,
Regards
Anthony
