Hi all,

I run into a fatal error with my file and it suddenly crashed, I tick the option to saved before closing, but is said unable to save my file due to error.

is there anyway to recover my job that i worked on? autosaved file location or something?

cheers,

Juan

No there are no autosaves. If you have saved before than in the folder, where you have your project, there are files with the same name and an addtional number like (original: projectA.rvt) projectA.0001.rvt, projectA.0023.rvt.
Thos can be opened directly in Revit

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.

Is it a central model or stand alone?  You can Restore Backup if it's a central model, or as previously mentioned you can open one of the .00x models and save as.  Either way, I would Audit the file when opening (detach from central if a central model) then try to Save As.  If that fails, Open/Audit the model again, unload any linked files, then Save As.  If it saves ok, reload the links one at a time and try to save with each load to see if one of the links is causing an issue.

I ran into an issue with a corrupt linked file on BIM 360 and had to unload, save, then reload from the non-corrupted file.
