Export Column names to DWG

Good day

When I export to dwg from 3D Revit to open to autocad 2018. It pulls through the names of the horizontal beams and not the names of the columns. Please assist with the settings if there are any.

Thank you for using Revit forum!

I am not sure if I understand correctly your concern.

It is about the name of the section, that for beam shows the name in the properties, but not for column ?

If not, can you please add:

1. A simple example (.rvt model)
2. The .txt file, in case is modified
3. A more detail picture with what you expect to achieve

Can you please tell me if it is about the name of the profile in 3D solid column from the .dwg file?

If this is the case, the export from Revit for steel objects with fabrication (having a connection) was changed on the 2020 version.

Now, on Revit 2020, the column will be exported as block reference and will adopt the properties accordingly, by showing also the name of the profile.
