Does Revit embed Model Filepath in PDF

Hi

I am looking for the rvt file that a PDF has been printed from.  Does Revit embed this info into the PDF metadata somewhere so I can find the filepath?

The parameter File Path can be added to a Titleblock family. Keep in mind that it will report the file path of the central file. If it is hosted on BIM360 you'll get a top level "folder" of Autodesk Docs. Ultimately the file path won't mean much to anyone outside the organization.

Not looking for ways to add paths to future PDFs, the PDF has already been created by someone.  Wondering if Revit embeds the info, and how to find it.

By looking at the PDF's? I wouldn't expect so. I've never "scoped" a PDF in any way other than viewing one in Bluebeam or Adobe etc. What tool would you be looking at a PDF with and hoping to see that data?

That’s my question I suppose.  There’s a lot of meta data embedded in PDFs.  I Just cannot see file paths, so hence my post.

i would think it would depend on how the PDF was made. what software was used and what viewer is being used. different software may embed different information into the PDF. Programs like Bluebeam, and other higher end driver/viewers, have more functionality that a generic PDF driver/viewer may have. Also, even if your file has the information, if you're using a generic viewer, it may not be able to access the information.
