cut lines of existing and new in section

Good Morning everyone, have had a few people at work ask me if there is a way that when we have a "new construction" concrete slab beside an "existing" concrete slab and we are creating sections, how to get the new cut line to be in-front of the existing cut line. It appears to plot to PDF fine, but they are just annoyed with the way it shows in section in Revit and while working in the model. And quickly, no, they do not want to add detail lines.

See the two pictures attached. One is how it looks and the other is what they want.

When printing this is usually present when using Vector in the Print Settings for Hidden line views and solved using the Raster Setting but if you need Vector an additional option is available in the options "Region edges mask coincident  lines" this will correct this using Vector

thanks for this, but we have no issue printing. It is just a visual thing with in Revit that I want to know if we can change it or not. It is more of an pain then a problem.

Gotcha, I think it’s a common issue.

The only setting I can think that may influence this are Joins and Join Order or Common or Hidden Edges in VG/VV Category
