Curtain Wall - Empty panel -Error - Revit 2021.1

Hi,

I have created a curtain wall with Structural members.  As I need the panels empty and not glass, when I changed the Curtain Panel to empty panel, I get this error message:

"Loaded family curtain panels cannot be used in non-rectangular cells of the curtain host. Type-driven panels from non-rectangular cells were unlocked and left unchanged."

You have o use the Empty  System panel, not the Empty  panel loaded from the library.

I cannot find Empty System panel in Revit 2021. I only see Glazed and Solid System.

Please can you let me know how I can Load Empty System panel?

Open the Architectural project template and transfer project standards.

Create a new project from Architectural project template, draw a curtain wall, change a panel to Empty System Panel, copy clip that curatin wall, paste to your project. That should bring the Empty System panel type into yours.

Thanks I just tried this. And when I paste it in my project it comes up with the attached message. When I click OK, nothing happens none of the Empty panel options come over.

Shoe me a screenshot of the list of the curtain panel types in your project browser.

Attached is a screenshot after I  have transferred the Architectural Project template Standards in my project file. As you can see the Curtain Wall Empty is selected but it does not remove the glass.

- Allow selection of pinned elements

- Tab select the panels, unpin them

- Change their type to the empty system panel type

Thank you very much for all your responses. I have tried implementing the changes for a few panels in the drawing,

it shows that it has changed to Empty Panel System, but the glass is still visible. I have attached the drawing. Please can you share your suggestions. Thanks.

What you think is glass is Analytical model. Turn it off.

Thank you for pointing out this. Sorry, my mistake as I was not aware Glass is  Analytical model. I turned off and its all brilliant 🙂
