i try to Create custom Steel Structure profile, then i loaded in my project but if i using steel tab like bolt, anchor, connection, miter... i dont know why when i custom they dont working but if i create like rec. square, I shape, ... from library it works. thanks
For the steel tools to work on a family they need to be either structural framing or structural column. You also have to ensure the family is setup as described in the following link - https://help.autodesk.com/view/RVT/2023/ENU/?guid=GUID-6244E741-5D14-4DAD-AE25-5069F71B69F3
Make sure your dimensions are setup exactly as the following page - https://help.autodesk.com/view/RVT/2023/ENU/?guid=GUID-5C94C05B-3463-4492-B97D-BC9E622147B7
You also need to ensure you have the detailing dimensions setup in the family - https://help.autodesk.com/view/RVT/2023/ENU/?guid=GUID-F987AEF5-8426-439C-BBB3-F2F53F0B956B

hi @Rob_Merriman i read carefully your help. i try make a new customSection like image shortcap above. But it doesn't working with Steel Tool Revit also. My description error in 3 image above. Can you explain for me why i can't use steel tool. thanks!
