My 2016 version of walls under structural where all in metric thickness.I could than edit as required. My 2018 version all structural wall thicknesses are imperial. As these are system Families, how do I edit to metric or can I import walls from 2016 version. Thanks Geoff

I think you just need to change your project units from imperial to metric

Go to Manage-Project units and change it there

This does not seem to work.

My project units was converted to metric from the start, but once I started modelling floors and walls, these seem to be in imperial units; I cannot find a way to load the metric components such as walls doors windows floors, etc.
Please help!

The families and content in your template and your project start up are only metric if you start with a metric template.  You either need to begin with a metric template, or rename and edit the system family values to metric as you USE them.  No need to do them all if you don't need them.

We work with a metric template only, and rename and edit system family content as we need it when doing an imperial project.

I think that your first thing that you need to do is edit type change the name if is necessary, then change your differents layers in the structure and change the thickness if you need it.Finally apply this changes and its done. The other is if you only need to change your measurement this is automatic when you change your project units, remind Revit work with out scales he only changes the units system and convert the measurement like you do it.
