Contour cut

Hi,

I want to create a hole in a beam with “contour cut” tool but have a problem to select a “planar face”.

Each time my mouse touches a beam all planar faces are selected.

Is there a practical way to select a planar face?

you should be able to place your mouse pointer over the face you want and it highlights...if this doesn't work, use the Tab key to cycle thru the selection

worse case, create a reference plane on the plane you want to cut, set that plane current, then use the opening by face command
