Column rebar cover: top face is inactive.

Hello
I am struggling with changing of reinforcement that I have modelled for foundation. I have columns with different heights. What I need is to make reinforcement shorter, so that top of reinforcement will be 60 mm from top surface of each column. When I am changing reinforcement that have already been modeled, I have to change each rebar separately. End rebar length do not snap to top rebar cover face of the column. So I decided to remodel reinforcement so that it will belong only to column and automatically join top and bottom rebar cover face of each column. However, I’m unable to define top rebar for column. It is inactive in Revit. Can anybody explain why? I have detached column form everything and even tried to delete concrete beam on the top of the column to check, but result was the same.
Screencast will explain better things that I tried to describe here.
Thanks in advance for help.

Hi Aleksei,

seems its some kind bug, i think. You may try work around. Offset column top little bit over beam (if beam height is 600, make column offset 700), than put it back, and must get covers back. If you will try offset column down, you will lost column beam joining, and beam could change it length unexpected somewhere.

If helped, mark as a solution.

You might be in architectural column.
You have to choose structural column for assigning clear covers & placing rebars.
Please recheck.
If this solves your problem.
Please mark this as solution.

Thanks in advance.
