Column and Castellated beam connection

Hi,

I would like to connect a column and a castellated beam, but an error message appears (see attachment).

Does anybody else experience this?

The problem is  because you create your beam with a non compatible form to join a column, i recommend you that you create your family using an existing family that work ok and then modified this one where ever you want to create if you do that you have more chances of compatibility connections.
