Changing section view direction as default in Assembly

Hi,

Have couple of queries in Assembly.

1. section#3 comes as default views towards downside. How I can set this to view toward upwards.

2. When I insert views into sheets all the views shows up the section marks. However I do not need this in every views. I want to show in only one view! Every time I will go to view & hide the element.

When we have lot of drawings to prepare, both above becomes time consuming.

Thanks.

you can create a view template hide those sections and apply to the views you don't want them to see. thanks

yes, I hide it manually, so far.

Try to prepare a new assembly, you will get all above problems, which I mentioned.

Hope you will come up with a solution.  thanks.

Thanks heaps for solving problem #2 @ennujozlagam .

Problem #1 is due to revit programing mistake. If you are changing vertical section orientation it works, But same thing doesn't work for horizontal section. you can check in the project I sent.

Thanks for your response. Yes we can switch the direction of Section easily as shown by you.

The main problem is section do not get updated after changing direction the horizontal section mark. however vertical section works fine.

Hope you got my point. thanks.

Sorry. No, This is not what I meant.

When you change orientation of vertical section plane, this should be reflected in sectional view as shown in 2 below images.

note below, that section direction changed ! However  this do not happen in the case of Horizontal section.

Let me show you below.

Dear Junne, Thanks for all your efforts. Kindly note that when you are changing the direction of section-3, in section view there is no change. Kindly see carefully, there no change in section-3. It should get flipped, like in the case of section view-4.

Yes, I will try to update my Revit. Hope it fixes the issue. Thanks heaps.

it should be the same  thickness/view because you are cutting a horizontal view section line and only flipping the section view? thanks
