Cant Open IFC file in Revit 2016

I am trying to open an IFC file in RVT16. The file was originally exported from Tekla to IFC

The reason I want to open in Revit is so I can then link into another Revit project because If I link the IFC into the Revit project then Revit runs extremely slowly

Does anybody have any solution?

Thanks, I tried that but I already have the correct templates mapped

I think the answer is to link the structural IFC (fron tekla) to a Revit model as an attachment and then link into the MEP Revit model
