I try to make a simple box in the Metric Furniture family, but the top of the box does not want to snap the reference plane. Probably a parameter, but which and where? Revit LT 2019

ITHe screenshot does not tell very much. Better to upload the family.

I do not see any reason why it would not snap.

Did you try to pull the blue triangles to the reference plane and then lock it?

Or maybe the align tool might work (align too, select ref plane, then the edge of the box and lock)?

Thanks! Align too works. There is a way around the problem, but the error is basically not remedied.

Align and pulling the object with the shape handle works. But do not forget to lock it to the snapped object.

Yes, that's right, it works with Extrusion, but not for Void Forms. Are there any parameters that control the reference plan so that everything can be attached to them? Is it any problem with the file?

Works also for void forms

You also could start with a solid then constain it as desired

Then change it to a void and use the cut tool to cut the object

No, it does not want to work. The properties of Void have only 3 lines with me. Revit 2019 LT, but I should be able to attach to a reference plan anyway. Or?

Should be no problem. As far as Iknow also Revit Lt should be able to do it

Screencast with with constraining your void and also an added solid turned into a void.

I gave up yesterday, so I installed Revit LT 2021. Now it works with snap for Voids.
