Building Section mark not showing in the structure view

Hi All,

Hi @ovidiu_paunescu

In my project I can not display the building section mark that have an architecture discipline in the structure view, although I checked all the visibility parameters and view scale that is compatible between architecture view and structure view (see picture bellow)

structure view.PNG

I need to display this building section mark in the same placement in the structure view to indicate rebars detail in that place, so how do I do that?

finally I noticed that REVIT gave another number to my building section in the structure view so normally it’s the same number I have to display in the sheet, how do I fix that?

Thanks.

Probably the section view itself is not set to Structural discipline. If you set that section to structural I expect it will show.

Usually the number is the Detail Number.

The section automatically gets assigned a sequential number when placed on a sheet. You can modify it to another number/text.

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.

Change the section view from Architectural to Coordination discipline.

Indeed, the section view is architectural and not structural and that’s what I’m trying to explain!!!
I want my architectural section to be displayed at the same time in my structural view because it cut in the same place and I want to display rebars detail in that specific placement.
I made two sections in the same place (one architectural and the other structural) but Revit gives me two different details numbers  while I want it to be the same number in the sheet!!

Thanks.
