Building Envelope design

Would anyone suggest which Auto-desk product is the best for designing the building envelope? 

I am currently using AutoCAD LT 2019 to draw 2D and Iso for designing the building envelope.

I would like to update the program to show 3D assembly on the document along with 2D. 

considering to purchase one of the Auto-desk product and like to have any advice.

Among Autodesk products Revit is the obvious choice.

Yes if you are doing design and construction documents.  However, if you are looking into model the actual stud framing then Revit itself does not do it without a lot of work.  For such, you would need to buy some 3rd party wood framing add-in for Revit.

Yes, I would like to show/draw the actual stud frame and cladding etc and present in 3D and 2D. 

Would you recommend an add-in product that would work well with Revit ? I applicate your recommendation and will lean about it.
