Hello

could you please advise about the Best Practice to workflow from Tekla to Revit

we are steel detailing contractor using mainly Tekla structure and we are in a project using bim process require providing weekly revit model and clash checks

as we are using tekla, weekly we have to convert the tekla model to ifc and insert it in revit model and using the converted rivet file to be uploaded on the acc

and for clash check we are exporting nwc from rivet file and make clash check with other trades inside Navisworks and check all the clash results from the beginning every week (more than 3k clash)

is there best practice to reduce this repeated cycle and avoid check all the clash results every week

There is an addin in Tekla Warehouse for this to get models from Tekla to Revit and vice-versa but beware it is limited to versions as there is a New Data method in Beta as described in the links below

upload ifc file from tekla directly to acc

use ifc from tekla with nwc file from revit for clash in a nwf file.

use the same nwf file just refreh ifc and nwc, and perfom clash.
