Bending Detail Scale - Revit 2024

Is the any way of changing the bending detail scale without changing the full scale of the drawing. There is not option of edition bending detail family. As it is shown in the pictures below . When you have full drawings in 1:50 or 1:25 the detail remains the same. Is there an option so we can show bigger bending detail on the drawing with different scale. Thanks in advance

you can just duplicate the view and hide the rebar I think so you have another view with another scale

On my current project I have 120 different bar numbers and shapes I think its a bit time consuming to make new view for every bar type and detail .... I want to ask if there is possibility for that kind of update in the next version or fixes, because there is no point of the bending shape details if they are not editable either family or type wise. In addition to this . If I create bending detail without selecting tag I need to delete the bending detail than to generate it again, with tag. There is no edit option so I can include or exclude the tag after placing the bending details. Respectfully. Nisev

I have tried this suggestion of yours. If you want to make new detail but  to hide the beam containing the rebar that you want to show the bending detail of, the bending detail is removed from the view too. As I show in the pictures below.

Hi @nisev

Currently the bending detail can only be the same size as the rebar, and the annotations in the BD change with the view scale.

It may be too complicated, logistically, but for different schematic representations, you could create a schedule, add the bending detail field, and configure the representation, then hide all other lines and headers, and place it on the sheet. Of course filtering the bars you need.

Hi @tcs.revit

The dimensions use the reinforcement length units. The best way to remove the units is to go to Units > Structural > Reinforcement - Length and remove the unit symbol (mm).

You can also set this from the dimension style the bending detail uses, but this would remove the reinforcement rounding and instead rely on the simple rounding defined in the dimension style.

I've covered this topic a little in this thread: https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/revit-structure-forum/filter-unwanted-rebars-from-detail-views/td-p/1...
I made my own families to create the sketches using shared parameters
