Beam join issue

Hi All

Can anyone please assist, I have drawn in my HR Steel beams, any time I want to use the beam join command and go to chose the beams they are greyed out and not selectable, any ideas as to what i could be doin wrong?

For steel  Structural Beam + Beam conecting and for Structural Column +Beam use Cope instead of Join.

Take care of the order of selection. First selected element will be the cuttted one. Selecting the cutted element , you can control the Coping Distance from Properties ( 0 value means that the elements a practically glued together...
