Beam Connections

Hello, I understand how to make beam connections, but I am not sure how to duplicate a beam connection that I have customized. Does every connection have to be customized from the standard connection given out of the box? There must be a simple way to populate a typical connection once it has been established. Help would be appreciated... Aaron

Once you create the first connection so that it is the way you want it, you can then use the copy command to duplicate it in the locations that where it is similar or identical.

Thanks, but that sounds to easy. There must be more to it. I can select the connection, I can pick copy, but now what? Where are you suppose to pick to place the copy? Can you make a short video clip of the procedure? Thanks, Aaron

FYI... I am currently evaluating Advance Steel to see if we can produce steel fabrication drawings from Revit Structural. I am not sure if it is easier to make the detailed connection in Revit or Advance Steel (any idea?), but at the moment I am trying to create the detailed connections in Revit and finding it to be very time consuming by placing a connection at every single connection point and then editing that connection. There must be a faster way. Your help in this evaluation would be appreciated. Thanks again, Aaron
