Aligning bracing to outside flange of a column

I'm working on a project where the wall build up requires bracing to be placed on the outside flange of the adjoining columns rather than aligned between the center of the columns. Equally, horizontal bracing needs to be aligned to the bottom of adjoining beams rather than between the center of these beams. I feel like there must be a quick fix but I've been going round the houses with this for weeks! Any suggestions?

To date I had possibly only one structure where vertical or horizontal bracing would go from a centreline to centreline. As far as I know, the only way is to model bracing to a reference plane or to a gridline with offsets without actually joining the brace to columns or beams (ideally disallow join). Still, when you have to make certain changes, so many times bracing (and framing) gets detached from a reference plane and there is no way to re-assign it back.

join normally to centre to centre, go to 3d view or plan view change to fine, select the bracing drag the arrows to align it with the outside edge.

Also can try to select bracing in properties geometric positions, change y and z justification and offsets to your need.
