I have been developing steel connections for Revit and Advance Steel using .NET technology for a long time.
Now I wanted to try out the Advance Steel Extension for Revit and discovered the following:
- If I export my steel construction from Revit to Advance, this works perfectly. The steel connections are transferred to Advance and can be operated as required.
- If I now want to transfer the steel construction from Advance to Revit, the steel connections are no longer listed, only the plates that are created by the steel connection are listed in the dialog. The result is that the steel connections no longer exist in Revit with their intelligence.
I tried the same with the steel connection "end plate", which is supplied by Autodesk. Here it worked without any problems.
The JointTransferId is set uniquely for all created objects in my steel connection.
Does anyone know what I need to look out for to ensure problem-free synchronization?
I can provide a brief example if required.
