Adding Constraints

Hi Team,

I have detailed a lift shaft, by using reference planes to obtain the correct dimensions between walls as specified by the manufacturer. However, I'm trying to add a constraint to the roof slab from the reference plane, but for some unknown reason it allows you to add one and puts the others within your model.

Please see attached image for information.

this has only recently happened to me, I have several constraints on other floor slabs, can anybody help?

Hi @NQ_GCE,

what are you trying to do exactly?

Apologises for the delayed reply.

For example, say if I added a reference plane and required my slab line 250mm away from the reference plane I tried to fix a dimension to it. The dimension would show up in grey and be added directly to my model.

Luckily I have solved the issue, the dimension wasn't attaching to the floor outline and which is why it turned grey.

Many thanks for your response.
