Adaptive Component keep level

I have a 2 point adaptive component family to be used as a noise barrier. The panel should stay level while the z-value of the selected points may vary (the bottom of the panel should align with the higher point).

I can determine within the family which point is higher by dimensions with parameters between the first point and points offset from both points respectively (dimension to the other AP will always be positive regardless of which is higher) and use these in a formula to adapt the geometry.

But when I place the family, the dimension parameters do not change, resulting in a skewed panel. I have tried to use reporting parameters instead, but these are not allowed to be used in formulas unless the dimension is directly between two APs, which does not help me.

Anybody know of a way to work around this?

Hello @Anonymous

I think it's necessary clarify a little bit your workflow and result which are expected from this family. You have mentioned that your Workaround works fine until we resolve this issue am I right ? What it is ?

This AP is skewed because of Height is not equal _z2 - i thinks so. I hope we will be able to help you

Hi @pawel.romaniuk and @Anonymous  I have never created 2 point adaptive components but @Anonymous you mentioned that you left the z- value flexible because its placement is variable correct?  So that is why it would be different value in the properties @pawel.romaniuk, I too would like more explanation as to what your end result is to be.  It would seem it has something to do with the way a parameter is set.
