Visibility Based On Reference Level

Is there a way to manipulate the visibility settings to have families appear on a floor plan based on the reference level regardless of any offset?  Such as if I draw some ductwork on Level 2 of a building and I have the reference Level of said ductwork set to Level 2 and that ductwork only shows up on the Level 2 floor plan regardless if I put it at 5'-0" above the floor or below the floor, which would technically be Level 1.

I'm working on a building that doesn't have one flat roof along with random rooms with high ceilings, for example the floor to floor measurement could be 10'-0" but somewhere in the building a room has a 12'-0" ceiling and I have to put ductwork above that ceiling, the room itself is on Level 2 of the building but the ductwork will register to be on Level 3 since the ceiling is so high.  I know I can adjust the offset of the view range but that just makes the floor plan a mess with having other things show up and I'm just wondering if there is some secret way to make families and other components visible on a floor plan based on their reference level.

See this link: https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/revit-mep-forum/filter-or-select-elements-by-level-or-working-plane/t...

You could also explore the use of Plan Regions to locally alter the view range in specific parts of an overall plan.

Thank you so much! I did not know that this was even a feature in Revit.  It will definitely help me clean up my plans
