Using Material parameter in Annotation for Pipe vs Fitting

I found that I can use the Pipe’s Material parameter in Annotations.

However, it seems that I cannot do the same with Fittings.

• Is it not possible to use the Material parameter of Fittings in Annotations?
• Or is there a workaround to achieve this?

Pipe is a system family with the Material parameter being assigned through the Pipe System or Segment, I forget which 😊.  The Fittings are Component Families. You would need to assign a Shared Parameter to the Material parameter in the family to be able to tag the fitting material. +

Alternatively, you could load a Fitting Material, Shared Parameter, to the Project Parameters of the file. it should then show up for all loaded fittings.
