Hello,
I have separated the ductwork in our project by each VUV it is associated with. There are multiple sizes of ductwork with each VUV and I have broken them into round duct and square duct schedules. I needed to separate the schedules of round vs. square because their typical lengths are different and the formula parameter needed to reflect that.
What I am trying to get is a total number of duct sections for each size of duct. What I have now is a schedule separated by their sizes with a line between each instance but I can not get Revit to total the sections by their instance. When calculating the totals it treats each instance as the same and only gives me the grand total. Is there a way to get Revit schedules to total up each instance in this situation? Screenshot attached below.
I would like to have each group of instances totaled up on the "Round Duct Sections" formula on the line that separates the instances. Not all the way on the bottom right with a grand total. Right now the only way I see to do this is by separating the sizes and that would be more work than it is worth IMO.
Is this possible?
