Top aligned pipe connection to manifold

Is it possible in Revit to create af top aligned pipe connection on a manifold or another pipe?
Right now i cant see to figure out how it should be done, while preserving a correct connection to the other pipe system.

Never used one but I think you need a lateral tee.

Yes that could be a solution except we are not using tees.

The manifolds are created using taps.

So i managede to get the 2 pipes to connect at the top by using Verical justification: Top on both branch pipe and primary pipe. But this leaves me with the problem, that i need to continue the pipe system using top justification which i'm not interested in.

You could also model the manifold as a family, including the branches and connectors, then connect the pipes from there. You'd need to choose the correct family category and connector types to make sure that flows totalise properly.
