Tips for Copy/Monitor Grids

I have a large project where the floor plans and levels are broken into 5 areas. I have all my views created and placed onto sheets. On some of these sheets the column grids are outside the title block border and need to be adjusted. Is there a way to do this in one view (that is placed on the sheet) and have it apply to instances of the column grid for all other sheets?

Also some of the grid heads are overlapping each other and need to be adjusted so you can read them. Is there a way to do this to one grid head and have it apply to instances?

you have the ability to turn on the annotation crop region in each view to adjust the limits of annotation visibility so when the view is on a sheet, it will look "tighter."  This feature is on a per view basis.  If the views you are working with are Dependent views, then they will react based upon the Parent view.  I do not believe you can change the annotation crop region in one view and have it affect all other views too.

Each grid line has a bubble designation.  If you select the grid line, there will be a break symbol that displays near the bubble designation.  Click this symbol and the gridline will give you a jog break and allow you to adjust the position of the bubble in relation to the gridline.

If you've copy/monitored the grids, you can use the Propagate Extents command to make all of your views match.

Thanks, using Propagate Extents has been a big help! I have a few grid lines that don't seem to be changing like the others when I use this. Is there any tricks as to why some of the grids will not adjust when using Propagate?
