Scheduling family parameters

Hello

Could you help me, please. I'm doing put some grilles in the layout plan, there are supply, return, exhaust and door grille, but just the door grille's abbreviation couldn't show on schedule. I have tried to edit the family & created an abbreviation parameter, but still not shown.

When I opened the properties, it's shown like this (image), I couldn't edit this abbreviation

System abbreviation greyedSystem abbreviation greyed

The new abbreviation that I created shows like this

Abbreviation_new.JPG

Those properties show in one family

Could you tell me, how to edit and showing the door grille abbreviation on schedule?

Thanks,

Putu

Hi here is your Answer.

Go to

Project Browser > Families> Duct System

Double Click on which system you wish to edit.

Under Identify Data you should notice "Abbreviation" Parameter

once you enter the value when Air terminal connected with the desired system the abbreviation name will appear automatically. Snap.JPG If you want to appear in schedule you should create shared parameter family.
