Schedules not updating on sheets

I have a schedule on a sheet that occasionally will not update.  The schedule itself updates but not the view on the sheet.  I have to remove the schedule from the sheet and put it back in to get it to show the current status of the schedule.  I have seen this on old threads but nothing in 2019.  Has anyone had this issue and might know the fix?  Thanks

I have had it happened randomly in 2016. Not sure about other versions. Fix can be one of: cut and paste in place, remove/replace, restart revit.

DELETE the schedule placed on the sheet, then UNDO (Ctrl+Z).

* Double check that your schedule is not pinned which may affect how it properly refreshes or updates.

I am not finding anything on the Knowledge Network about this and it seems to still be an issue.

Do you perhaps have more information?

Issue still exists in 2019 at least and I note it has been an issue since at least 2009.

Seriously, schedules are CRITICAL, an error in an accommodation schedule could result in hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of loss and Autodesk STILL HASN'T FIXED SUCH BASIC FUNCTIONALITY AFTER 10 YEARS?

Another course of action, quicker than Copy/Paste is to select the Panel Schedule on the sheet, and use the up or down arrow keys to move the schedule a few clicks to get the schedule to update, and put the schedule back to it's original position by reverse order of arrow  key clicks. Hope this helps.

Autodesk provides a product feedback page for your thoughts.

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

Having the same issue in REvit 2023.1!! How is this even possible?! Should really be a priority fix!!

This is a bug I've experienced over 10 versions. Schedule will update when you re-open the project, or if you wiggle the schedule on the sheet, or sometimes if you open the schedule editor.

Often it works fine (Revise instantly), sometimes it doesn't. I gave up on Autodesk fixing it...

Far out... we just issued a schedule and found out the hard way that it did not update.  This is a MAJOR.  Needs priority fixing!

At the very least the printing function needs to refresh.

If you change one of the sort parameters in the schedule properties Sorting/Grouping from Ascending to Descending or vice versa, the schedule will be forced to be updated. I hope this helps.

But that's not a functional solution! I can't go through all my schedules, on all my sheets, to be sure they are updated. Feels silly to be forced to restart Revit before a print och PDF-export. It really interupts the workflow. Autodesk must step in and fix this! After all, it's not a cheap and newely released software we are trying out and beta testing on behalf of a startup company! JUST FIX IT! Without workarounds!

None of this is solution, just workarounds.
Solution is to fix issues that have been unearthed for years.

Try Product Feedback.

But they do work, therefore they are solutions.
