Is there any way to make a mechanical equipment tag that can also show the room number?

For example the label would show: Type/Room Number/Mark.

I cant see a way to add Room Number to the label.

Did you ever use room tags in Revit? They, like all tags, update automatically.

It seems all the respondents talk about Revit, and the OP seems to use some other software.

Revit Version: R2026.4.2
Hardware: i9 14900K, 64GB, Nvidia RTX 2000 Ada 16GB
Add-ins: ElumTools; Ripple-HVAC; ElectroBIM; Qbitec

As I understood it, the OP wants the room number to be incorporated in the Mark value of MEP components and for that to appear in the MEP tags, replicating their previous workflow in CAD but making use of the automation capabilities of Revit.
I don’t think its about room tags.

The solution has to be, I think, Dynamo per @ToanDN ‘s earlier reply.

That’s my interpretation but I might be wrong.
