Revit to and From Conduit /Circuit schedule

Hello Revit Nation!

I'm a long time Revit user, but just recently began working with Electrical. I am working on transitioning my new team from Autocad to Revit and need to generate a Conduit schedule comparable to the one below. I'm having a hard time figuring out the best way to accomplish this. I am open to any ideas, I just don't really know where to get started.

For some background, my team is responsible for creating room layouts. In the past, we have just created this schedule without actually drawing in the conduit runs as we don't need to track conduit run lengths, only their start and end points. I would like to keep this workflow if possible.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Yes just like that! The schedule is used to identify Conduit requirements between different pieces of equipment. How did you create that schedule?

Thank you so much for your reply!

Great, I wanted to make sure before i got into explanations :-).

in my office we don't usually place conduit so none of our equipment has conduit connectors to make a true "Run".

  • I just used the Conduit schedule option, not the Conduit Run option.
  • added the Comments, Service Type, Count and Size parameters.
  • filtered by Service Type > Has Value
  • sorted by Service Type
    • uncheck the Itemize every Instance.

Once the schedule was made, I grouped the Comments and Service Type, then Hid the Comments column.
