ok ive read through some posts but none seem to have the same issue i do. I'm running pipe on a flat plane, in a model i was working in yesterday with no issues. i have a pipe at 30' elevation and i want to connect to a pipe at 29', when i do this it says it cant find a solution to connect the 2 but i had no issues doing it yesterday. also instead of going straight vertical its changing elevation at a 45 degree angle.

Accepted solution

when laying out pipe if you are drawing at elevation (offset and want to change levels simply change the offset distance and select apply then continue to draw your pipe.

confirm your pipe systems are the same if you are using Pipe Types confirm they are also the same

the images shows a Pipe @3'-0" transitioning to 2'-0" down

if you are trying to manually connect pipes use a section view along with a plan view
