Revit - Mitered Offset problem

Hi,

I'm trying to connect 2 rectangular ducts (slip joint) of the same dimensions (450x300). But they are different heights.

There is not enough room for 2x 30degree bends. And I wanted to use a Mitered Offset. However, there doesn't appear to be one in the Revit family.

I've tried to use a Rectangular Transition 45 Degree, but it draws it with a severe angle. I can't increase the length of the transition piece higher than 25.4!

Can anyone advise if there is a different duct piece I should use or if the transition can be lengthened?

Thanks,

Rob.

There is a mitered offset going back to at least 2017.

Use smaller angles.

There are other transitions. Even one that uses an assigned length.

Do you have the OOTB library?

Hi RobDraw,

"There is a mitered offset going back to at least 2017"

I'm currently in 2016, is there no mitered offset? I've updated the content libraries via autodesk but no luck.

"There is not enough room for 2x 30degree bends"

I could use 15 degree bends but this increases the length of duct required for both ducts to meet. Again, possible but looking to save space in the ceiling void.

"There are other transitions. Even one that uses an assigned length"

Could you advise on the transitions that you're referring to? Especially ones where the length can be determined.

Much appreciated.

They are in the Revit families library. The names have "-Lenght" at the end of them.

Do you know where your library is?
