Revit Family Not showing shaded in plan view, but showing shaded in RCP?

Hi.

I have a revit family (Sprinkler Tank) that seems to be showing Shaded in RCP view but only shows edges in Plan View. I would like this to show shaded in plan view . What could this be?

Both are same discipline.

Shaded graphic display option is chosen on both views

Only edges seem to be shown in plan view. if edges are unticked the family dissapears 

Revit Family is attatched.

Please screenshot the view range settings for each of the views

What is your view range?  Are you cutting through the tank?

Thanks for this. I was cutting through the tank and the edges were not showing properly! very strange since sometimes this is not the case. thanks.
