Revit Electrical: Edit Circuit Highlight Issue for Existing Elements

I'm trying to circuit existing and new receptacles. When I go into "edit circuit," only the receptacles in the circuit should be highlighted black, and the rest of the model should be halftone. However, when I circuit existing receptacles, which are halftone from the start, with new receptacles, the existing will stay halftone when I go to edit the circuit; it's very hard to see if the existing receptacles are part of the circuit. Is there any way to make the existing receptacles highlight black when in "edit circuit" mode?

Let me start by saying, I hate dark mode and only tried it for a hot second. Besides personal preference, i dislike it doesn't show me how it will look on actual planset that gets issued. And the screenshots i see with dark-mode, just reenforces my hate.   🙂

Maybe try to set it to normal mode (like it will look on actual plan sheet)?

if you don't want to do that, play with phasing settings:

Another alternative is, make all elements of that discipline red or some other color. That way it stands out from the black/gray of the other elements? i don't know how it looks in dark mode. But i like it for normal mode (and actual construction documents). Below an electrical plan with all electrical elements in red. I don't have existing elements, but I suspect they still show in red (just a bit less pronounced)

YMMV. You have to trial & error a bit to find a way that works for YOU. But IMHO, darkmode make sit harder.
