I tried the initial export with Revit DB Link 2024 in Revit 2024 and it always fails in all following versions:
- MS Access
- ODBC to empty MS Access database (MS Access ODBC drivers both versions v15 an v16)
- ODBC to empty MS SQL Server 2022 database
However the regular File -> Export -> ODBC works flawlessly with:
- ODBC to empty MS Access database (MS Access ODBC drivers both versions v15 an v16)
Same behavior with Revit DB Link 2025 in Revit 2025.
The DB Link exports starts, but different errors occur until it fails completely.
Same behavior with a completely empty project file.
Spent 2 working days on it now. Extremely frustrating.
It doesn't have to be MS Access. One reliable, future proof, workflow solution for exporting, manipulating (Excel) and importing data via using some sort of database would be just fine for me.
