REVIT Auto mark items sometime annoying

I recently add a lot of thermostats. And as you can imagine, all thermostats has mark automatically added by REVIT.

They may call VAV-1-133, 134, 135...

OR FC-1-222, 223, 224 ....

When I create VAV schedules, I have to filter them out, extra work.

If your thermostats are getting into your VAV schedule, something is wrong other than the automatic numbering.

Maybe Yes, but I still want to disable this function. Auto tagging  equipment is WRONG anyway.

Hello,

This function is a standard behavior from Revit, I suggest you to use a schedule to make them blank, or use Dynamo for such purpose, there is already such routine ready in the sample files, if I am not wrong.
